Digital Forum was formed in the spring of 1996 with the goal of creating web-based services for the emerging Internet marketplace and software products for specialized industries. To get the venture off the ground, the company's founders decided to provide software engineering services to local businesses. Because of the instant success experienced in providing these services, Digital Forum continued to pursue similar opportunities.
